Kellner Boys go Skiing

We took Max up for his 4th day skiing. We've been up every single weekend since the mountain opened up.

Appa George got to see Max ski for the first time, and I think he was very impressed!

Once again it was beautiful on the mountain with the sun peeking out enough for some nice pictures and sights.

Max going fast.

Decorating the Tree

We put up our Christmas tree last week, and for the first time, Max helped us decorate it.

The best part was he tried to put every single ornament in the same place!

First day of school

Max is attending Montessori school three days a week. He just started last week and so far it is going well. Getting up and getting ready in the morning has been a bit challenging but he seems to really like it. On the way to school he always tells me that he doesn't want to go but last Friday he told the teacher that he "really likes this school." I think he is going to learn a lot and I know I am going to enjoy my time to spend with baby Wesley.

Kellner Brothers

Two very different looking brothers but both are extremely handsome!

Max is 2.5!

It's hard to believe that our first born is already 2 and a half. This little 2 and a half year old is FULL of life and energy. He is just like his dad. He doesn't stop unless he is sleeping. When he is awake, he talks non stop. If he doesn't know what to say, he usually says, "It's a nice day outside" or "I did it all myself." Speaking of doing it all myself, Max is going potty in the big boy potty (#1 and #2), sleeping in a big boy bed (because he was climbing out of the crib) and going to preschool three days a week. These huge changes have taken place within the last few months. All of this with the addition of his little brother has been difficult for us. It is hard to keep up with our little man. He is learning so much and changing so fast that we almost don't know what to do with him (hence, the reason we are sending him to school). Fortunately, Max adores his little brother, unfortunately, he loves him so much that his enthusiasm for him often results in a time out. He talks about how when his baby brother gets big that he is going to teach him things like, how to ski and how to swim and how to build sandcastles. It is really heartwarming. The thought of our little boys playing together is often what gets me through the day. At Max's last dr. appt he weighed 28.8 pounds and was 37 inches (or something like that). He is tall and skinny - 50% for weight and 75% for height I think. He still loves trucks and tractors but is currently really into firemen and legos. His imagination is very active, he often fights pretend fires by spraying warm water on them or tells me he needs a big ladder to fix something or he will just hand me a pretend piece of candy. There is never a dull moment with our bad guy robot!
