1 month

Max turned 1 month old on Sunday June 21st, which also happened to be Father's day. Max is doing really well and we think he is pretty cool. Believe it or not but we have him on a (pretty flexible) schedule already. He eats every 3 hours during the day and about every 4 hours during the night. Speaking of which...he is ready to eat...again!

He actually kind of likes getting a bath already. He even gets a bit mad when we take him out of the water. Does this mean we have a water baby on our hands?

The many faces of Max

Max is almost 8 pounds now and he is growing like crazy. The outfit that we brought him home from the hospital in was way too big for him at the time, now he has almost grown out of it. He is already tracking faces with his eyes and he loves to look at his book with the black and white images. He requires quite a bit of entertaining as he gets bored fast with the same old scenery. He tends to get cranky as soon as his mom sits down with a meal. We think he is absolutely adorable!

Little man

Max is three weeks old now. Rudy made the comment the other day that he already has a hard time picturing life before Max. My sentiments are a little bit different, I still remember what it was like to be getting some sleep.

After his bath

Max is getting better at liking bath time. Every bath gets easier and easier for all of us. He mostly likes to snuggle with us when we are done.

Max is 12 days old today. So far he has been a pretty good baby. He eats every 3 to 4 hours and is generally in a good mood in between. He is more and more alert every day. Rudy and I are really enjoying having him around.
