I was finally able to get Max to say some of his words on camera. After watching this video I realize that not all of his words are super obvious to everyone else, but I am his mom and I know exactly what he is saying. He doesn't say monkey yet but when he kisses his hand like that he is referring to his stuffed monkey (that he sleeps with).

Getting buried in the sand

One of our new favorite weekend rituals is to take Max down to the Marina so he (we) can play in the sand. Here he is getting buried in the sand by his dad. My favorite part about this ritual is that we stop at the drive thru Starbucks first.
