Christmas 2009

We just celebrated our first Christmas with Max. Here are a couple of favorites. As you can see, one of his first presents was a Blazer jersey. Thanks Uncle Monkey.

Here's the beauty shot.

And Max's soon to be sleeping outfit for the next 3 years:

Max is 7 months!

That's right, you heard me, Max is seven months old. As you can see, he has developed quite a personality. He thinks his mom (that's me) is the best. There isn't much to say, I think the pictures say it all. Merry Christmas!

Rolling

Proof that Max can roll all over now. He gets himself stuck all the time since he can really only roll in one direction. He doesn't seem to get mad when he gets stuck. Diaper changes have taken on a whole new meaning.

Bed Head

Now that Max's hair is getting longer, he occasionally wakes up with a major case of bed head as shown here.

I think Max got this look from his dad, see the first picture on the post below...

Grandpa and Max on Thanksgiving

Futbol

I bought Max a plush soccer ball at Ikea and he really likes it. Pretty soon he'll be playing soccer with us at the park!

Winter 2009

It has been clear and cold lately so we bundled the little man up and went for a walk on the Old Gorge Highway. Rudy got a new camera so he took a lot of pictures. Here are some of my favorites:

I found my feet!

I found my feet a couple of weeks ago. I like my right foot more than my left foot.

I like to grab my toes when they are bare, and stick them in my mouth. So far, however, I can only put my right foot in my mouth, my left one is close, but not as flexible.

Thanksgiving

A couple of pictures from Thanksgiving this year. We made some Slovak one-biter hors d'oeuvres to hold us over pre-bird.

We used a variety of fine meats, cheeses, eggs, bread, and half a dozen different pickled vegetables.

We then proceeded to have a very nice dinner, accompanied by excellent Oregon Pinots and Chardonnays.
