Max is a year and half! Every time I do one of these updates I talk about what a little man he is becoming. This time I really mean it! Outside of getting colds and making new teeth Max is a happy, flamboyant, demanding and opinionated little boy. His laugh is infectious, he runs from place to place with his arms flapping, he tells you what he wants when he wants it and he answers yes or no to all questions (even if I am not talking to him).
Max clearly has Kellner energy. Outside of when he is sleeping he won't stay still for longer than a few minutes at a time. He loves to be outside and when he is inside he wants to help me do everything around the house. He likes to help me cook and so we got him a toy kitchen where he can make us milk, water with ice and soup with eggs. I have a feeling Max is going to have a huge imagination.
Max is a difficult eater. He is not one of those kids that will eat the same thing every day or even the same type of foods consistently (although he has never turned down a pickle or a piece of chocolate). This behavior keeps us on our toes. I do my best every day to find healthy and filling food for him to eat.
Max loves to take baths every night with dad. He's constantly finding new ways of entertaining himself in the water by pouring water into his little cups and buckets. He really likes going swimming at the Hood River pool on Saturdays and can get from one side of the pool to the other by himself with his arm floats.
To make a long story short, Max is doing very well and he is growing up fast!
